From the Organizers via Facebook Event

We will meet at Salmon Falls River at the gazebo under the train bridge. If you don't know how to get there just look up Fogarty's in S. Berwick, Maine. Fogarty's is on one side of a bridge, on the other side is where Rollinsford begins and where the "park" is. Go over the bridge and almost immediately to your right will be a train bridge and a dirt road. At the beginning of that dirt road is a gazebo. To the left of the road will be a sign readin "Salmon Falls Village" and that is how you will know you're in the right place. The reason I made the event location for the PD is because there was no location or GPS locations available for the "park".

Sarah Letendre is a kind, proud, passionate & loving woman and mother of 2 beautiful babies. On July 11th, she was assaulted and hospitalized by her husband, Dover police officer and former MMA fighter, R.J. Letendre. Following the assault, she attempted to escape the home with her children. This lead to her being trailed and harassed by her husband's friends and coworkers within the Rollinsford Police department. She was illegally detained and arrested under false charges by officers who abused their power of authority in the most disgusting ways. She now has criminal charges facing her, has lost custody of her children due to being demonized by her husband with friends in high places. He and the other officers are being protected and shielded by their departments. This protest is taking place to raise awareness about not only Sarah's situation but the situations that take place all over the country. Over 40% of families that include a police officer have faced and suffered Domestic Abuse. Police Officers are among the highest offenders of domestic abuse, brutality and criminal activity.

The purpose of these protests is to demand that all officers involved are suspended without pay or fired, arrested and charged. We demand that the Chiefs of both departments step down immediately.

There is a Gofundme set up to help Sarah with her legal fees but there will also be another page set up for anyone who wishes to donate to Haven which is a fantastic resource for domestic violence victims in the area.
