Annual reading of “What To The Slave Is The Fourth Of July” hosted by DHS project D.R.E.A.M.
We are hosting NHPR’s annual reading of Frederick Douglass’ 4th of July speech, Friday, July 3rd at Henry law park. We ask that members of the community come to support us and we are looking for volunteers to help in reading his speech “What To The Slave Is The Fourth Of July”. DHS project D.R.E.A.M

"We are hosting Black Heritage Trail of NH's annual reading of Frederick Douglass’ Speech: What to The Slave is Your 4th of July (speech), Friday, July 3rd at Henry Law park. We ask that members of the community come to support us and we are looking for volunteers to help in reading his speech “What To The Slave Is Your Fourth Of July”. The event will start at 12 and anyone interested in reading a section may come at 1130. We will be holding a fishbowl discussion at the end for anyone that would like to participate!
