what
A small group of disabled activists are coming together to create an accessible Black Lives Matter Protest for the disabled community and allies. We are passionate about this movement and want everyone to be able to exercise their right to advocate for the causes they believe in. EVERYONE (disabled folks and allies and any other supporters of BLM!) is welcome to join in.
There will be ASL interpreters and a wheelchair-friendly march route. Social distancing in the assembly area is expected, as is wearing a mask. We ask that only those with service animals bring their pets to this event.
We will be livestreaming the speakers at the event for anyone who is unable to attend in person. A link to the livestream will be posted on this event page on the day of the event.
